About PewDiePie Net Worth

PewDiePie is a Swedish YouTuber who is famous for his Let’s Play videos as well as comedic formatted shows. His channel is currently the most subscribed channel on YouTube and has been since 2013. PewDiePie’s net worth is $30 million.

Early Life

Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg alias PewDiePie was born in Gothenburg, Sweden on October 24, 1989.  His parents are Lotta Kristine Johanna and Ulf Christian Kjellberg. He was raised in Gothenburg with his older sister, Franny. Kjellberg’s father was a corporate executive and her mother was a former Chief Information Officer. Growing up, Kjellberg gained interest in the arts particularly drawing gaming characters that he was playing. When he reached high school, he would skip classes to play games in internet café. In College he pursued a degree in industrial economics and technology management at the Chalmers University of Technology. He, however, left the university in 2011 due to his lack of interest in the course he was studying. He mentioned that he had more interest in working on photo manipulation art using Adobe Photoshop rather than studying in school. With this, he joined Photoshop contests and was almost hired as an apprentice at a prominent Scandinavian advertising agency. Although he was not able to get the apprenticeship, he continued with his art and sold his limited-edition prints so he could buy a laptop and focus on making YouTube videos.

Career

Kjellberg’s original YouTube account name in 2006 was PewDie with pew representing the sound of the laser and die representing death.  In his return to YouTube, as he already forgot the password to his past account, he made another account with the name PewDiePie in 2010. His early videos were focused on video game commentaries particularly for horror and action video games as well as mainstream video games such as Minecraft, Call of Duty, and his most famous Let’s Play on Amnesia: The Dark Descent. In 2011, he began posting weekly vlogs entitled Fridays with PewDiePie. In the same year, he already gained 60,000 subscribers. In the May of 2012, his subscribers grew to 500,000 and eventually to 700,000. By July 2012, it was already a million subscribers and 2 million by September. Kjellberg eventually signed with Maker Studios which is a multi-channel network that drives the growth of the channels it is managing.

By 2013, Kjellberg’s channel already reached 5 million YouTube subscribers. After subscribing 6 million subscribers, he was covered in the New York Times and the following month, he won the Swedish Social Star award in the Starcount Social Stars Award in Singapore. He also won the Most Popular Social Show award. By July, PewDiePie was already the second most subscribed channel having 10 million subscribers. August of the same year, he was signed with Maker’s gaming subnetwork Polaris. On November, Kjellberg reached 15 million subscribers and became the most subscribed YouTuber. Although the title was regained by YouTube’s Spotlight account, PewDiePie overthrown the channel again by the end of 2013. Also, in the second half of 2013, the channel already earned around 1.3 billion video views.

With the help of Maker Studios, a PewDiePie app was released on 2014 that would allow audiences to easily view and share his videos. Kjellberg also created co-hosted videos with another gaming commentator CinnamonToastKen in the series entitled BroKen. In addition to the PewDiePie app, Maker also developed a website and online store to sell PewDiePie merchandise. The app was also successful, having 14 million subscribers and around 4.1 billion video views. By the end of 2014, Kjellberg’s channel already has 7 billion views. By the latter part od September, the account already has 10 billion video views.

In 2015, YouTube Original series Scare PewDiePie was on its way. In early 2016, him and Maker Studios produced Revelmode, a subnetwork that showcases Kjellberg and his friends through a YouTube Original series. By December of 2016, PewDiePie has 15 million subscribers. In 2017, due to videos uploaded by Kjellberg which showed contents that are not ethical, Maker Studios cut their ties with him along with Google dropping him from the Google Preferred advertising program and YouTube cancelling the second season Scare PewDiePie.

Although he continues to upload videos in YouTube, Kjellberg also created NetGlow, a channel on the livestreaming service Twitch. His first stream has 60,000 viewers and accumulated 93,000 subscribers. PewDiePie’s reign as no. 1 most subscribed channel was challenged by the T-series, with the competition embarking on heated video exchanges that involved racist remarks and court rulings. In 2019, Kjellberg is back to uploading his original Let’s Play series which was largely centered on Minecraft and earned him 570 million views in July. On August of the same year, his channel already has 100 million subscribers. Since January of 2020, Kjellberg has been in hiatus and did not mention when he would return to the platform.

Career Highlights

PewDiePie earned a Guinness World Record for the most YouTube subscribers of all time in 2015. He was also awarded a red diamond play button by YouTube after surpassing 100 million subscribers mark.

PewDiePie Quotes

“My parents said that sitting at home playing video games all day won’t bring you anywhere in life.” – PewDiePie

“The thing that has made YouTube so successful is that you can relate to the people you’re watching to a much higher degree than to the people you see on TV.” – PewDiePie

“When I started my YouTube channel in 2010, I never imagined that one day it would be the most subscribed channel in the world and that I would be a part of such a great community.” – PewDiePie

Life Lessons

PewDiePie made a career for himself and was indeed self-made. With the common judgment to gamers that nothing would happen to their lives if they just keep on playing games, PewDiePie changed this impression. He never intended to make a career out of YouTube videos, but what he intended was to do something that he likes doing even if it did not seem lucrative. He once said that we are all different but we are all the same. We just need to be ourselves and not let anyone tell us who we are. We do not need labels to feel valuable.

Current Lifestyle

Kjellberg recently got married with his wife Marzia Bisognin and was reported to have spent £121,500 or about 156,833 US dollars in a ceremony in London. The ceremony was in the Nash Conservatory and Temperate House at Kew Gardens which was reported to charge about 27,000 USD for a wedding. The wedding ring was estimated to be at least 97,000 USD.

Summary

PewDiePie is a Swedish YouTuber and gaming commentator. He is currently holding the title of the channel with the highest number of subscribers. His channel opened on 2010 and currently has 100 million subscribers.

Beyonce Quotes

“I truly believe that women should be financially independent of their men. And let’s face it, money gives men the power to run the show. It gives men the power to define value. They define what’s sexy. And men define what’s feminine. It’s ridiculous.” – Beyonce

“We have to teach our boys the rules of equality and respect so that as they grow up gender equality becomes a natural way of life. And we have to teach our girls that they can reach as high as humanly possible.” – Beyonce

“When you love and accept yourself when you know who really cares about you, and when you learn from your mistakes, then you stop caring about what people who don’t know you think.” – Beyonce

“I don’t feel like I have to please anyone. I’m grown. Can do what I want. Can say what I want. I can retire if I want. That’s why I’ve worked hard. Women have to take the time to focus on our mental health — take time for self, for the spiritual, without feeling guilty or selfish.” – Beyonce

“I wanted to sell a million records, and I sold a million records. Wanted to go platinum; I went platinum. I’ve been working nonstop since I was 15. I don’t even know how to chill out. I don’t really like to call myself a brand, and I don’t like to think of myself as a brand. I’m a singer, a songwriter, a musician and a performer. And an actress, and all the other things that I do. When you add it all together, some might call it a brand, but that’s not my focus.” – Beyonce

Life Lessons

Beyonce talked about how to transform negative thoughts into positive and motivating ones. She mentioned once that when she is not feeling well, she would ask herself what she would do about it. She allows herself to feel bad or down, but makes sure she will not wallow in sadness or despair. This has been an important lesson that she learned after the heart-breaking disbandment of Destiny’s Child. She also gives value to a sense of individuality and highlights the importance of taking care of one’s self especially mental health. We should be nicer to ourselves because the world will treat us the way we would allow it, and we should only allow it to treat us in the way that we treat ourselves.

Current Lifestyle

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z recently purchased an $88 million newly built mansion in Cuesta Way, Los Angeles. The property is a 30,000 square feet of living space that boasts four outdoor swimming pools, a media room, spa and wellness facilities, and bulletproof glass walls. An additional of 10,000 square feet of patios and terraces expand the available living spaces. In addition, the couple owns a number of cars including a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud Convertible I, Series 2 Alfa Romeo Spider, Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, and a Mayback Exelero, to name a few.

Summary

Beyonce is a multi talented American singer, dancer, and actress who first rose to fame as the leader of the group Destiny’s Child. Her solo career has led her to further success with a series of chart-topping hits as well as sold out concerts across the world. Billie Eilish Quotes

“In the public eye, girls and women with strong perspectives are hated. If you’re a girl with an opinion, people just hate you. There are still people who are afraid of successful women, and that’s so lame.” – Billie Eilish

“I and my brother get along super well. We’re, like, best friends. So we’ll stay up until, like, five just talking because we get along and, you know, it’s cool. And he respects my opinions, and I respect him, even if we don’t have the same opinions, but a lot of the time we do.” – Billie Eilish

“I really wanted to be a model when I was little. I loved photography, and I loved being on camera. But I was short and chubby, so I couldn’t. Anyway, being an artist is way more interesting than just being a model because it’s about you and what you want to be. You’re not being treated like a clothes hanger.” – Billie Eilish

Billie-eilish-net-worth

“Bellyache’ is totally fictional. I like writing about things that aren’t real. The song is about not trusting anyone and then putting trust in yourself and realizing that you don’t know what you are doing, either. Or realizing that things you do with a group of people that you think are cool at the moment are ultimately all on you.” – Billie Eilish

“Me and my brother get along super well. We’re, like, best friends. So we’ll stay up until, like, five just talking because we get along and, you know, it’s cool. And he respects my opinions, and I respect him, even if we don’t have the same opinions, but a lot of the time we do.” – Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish Life Lessons

Billie Eilish gives highlight to the importance of knowing one’s self worth, and how everything will be ruined if we do not know our own worth. Opinions of other people do not really matter much because the most important opinion and the only opinion that we should accept is our own opinion because it is us that truly knows our own selves. It doesn’t matter if other people will not believe in you, as long as you believe in yourself, then you will be alright.

“I had a boyfriend who told me I’d never succeed, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song, and that he hoped I’d fail.” Lady Gaga

“I’m already crazy. I’m a fearless person. I think it creeps up on you. I don’t think it can be stopped. If my destiny is to lose my mind because of fame, then that’s my destiny. But my passion still means more than anything.” Lady Gaga

“A girl’s got to use what she’s given and I’m not going to make a guy drool the way a Britney video does. So I take it to extremes. I don’t say I dress sexily on stage – what I do is so extreme. It’s meant to make guys think: ‘I don’t know if this is sexy or just weird.” Lady Gaga

“Tonight, I want you to forget all your insecurities. Tonight I want you to reject anyone or anything that has made you feel like you don’t belong, or don’t fit in, or has made you feel like you’re not good enough or pretty enough or thin enough, or like you can’t sing well enough or dance well enough, or write a song well enough, or like you’ll never win a Grammy, or like you’ll never sell out Madison square garden! You just remember that you are a god damn superstar and you were born this way!” Lady Gaga
